We had a great time today offering our support and enjoying the day!

Night at the Drive-In

I had never been to a drive-in before so we loaded up and headed to Riverside to check out

Cats and Dogs

The lovely Rubidoux theatre in Riverside where four year olds wear beer shirts and...well.. parents let them!

Getting set up...a little harder then we had imagined

So excited for their first drive in movie!

As we anxiously awaited for our cinematic experience to begin, little did we know that we were waiting at the wrong screen! After settling in (which not being pros took a bit of time) and the movie starting, we realized we were parked in front of the R rated movie "The Other Guys" starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg...No Cats and Dogs in this one...just guns and lots of curse words. So as Chip fervently threw everything into the back of the car while I tried desperately to cover the children's eyes while balancing a large car seat on my lap...we slowly maneuvered out of our space trying very carefully not to take out any cars and movie goers as we went. All worked out well and we were able to get to the right side just in time for the movie to start...phew!

All in all this was super fun and we will...now as seasoned veterans... do this again!

Kicking Back

We used the car to move some stuff so we took the car seats out. In the morning I found Gus and his sister sitting in them.

We have trained them so well though that they actually buckled themselves in...much to Lilly's dismay!
