Congratulations Berolda & Gaddiel!

Gus and Lilly had the honor of being in Berolda and Gaddiel's wedding at the Crystal Cathedral.

What a good looking family!

Getting ready to begin (kinda looks like my kid is saying, "No, really, I didn't do it!") While his sister checks her petals in the foreground.

Despite his extremely relaxed position I have to give it to him, he did quite well! Just some background info, the wedding was at 3:00pm in August in a cathedral made completely out of glass with no AC...there were three pastors officiating the ceremony and Gus had a jacket, vest, tie, cuff links etc. and he did not even complain once...I am really proud of him!! If you see the feet to the far right of the photo, that's Ray...he fell asleep on the stage :)

Lilly on the other hand left the stage with a fellow flower girl in the pursuit of some water and was not allowed back up. This did not seem to bother her as she spent the rest of the ceremony pretending to paint her new friend's nails with the fake petals she had left in her basket. "Painting" by the way, consisted of her licking the petals prior to putting them on the poor girl's fingers. I unfortunately as too far away to stop the very unsanitary process (yuck)!

Now it's picture time. Time for the boys to obsess over the fountain...

While the girls go back to "reclaim" their fake flower petals!

Not sure why Lilly refused to smile...maybe a little too hot and tired?

Gus's smile wasn't hard to come by...so handsome!

My guess is she is wondering when this will end because all she really wants is to eat cake and dance!

Finally the reception!

The kids just really seemed to like this corner of the room!

Hmm reflecting on the ceremony or contemplating the institution of marriage maybe?

Time to break out of there for some outdoor play. Hide and go seek anyone? Who doesn't lay on the dirty ground in a tux?

And heck if it is good for the guy in the tux why not the girl in the WHITE dress?

Uh-oh watch carefully...unsuspecting flower girl pausing to catch her breath...

Is then smacked on the head by the aggressive overly wound page boy brother...ouch!

Cheers to Berolda and Gaddiel! (I think Lilly would still be "cheersing" if she hadn't run out of cider!)

Now back to her corner for her well deserved cake

But being she was terribly messy (as evidenced in the photo above where she spilled her water and was getting cake everywhere), Dad stepped in.

But being the independent girl that she is, she reclaimed her cake and enjoyed it to the end!
