Mammoth Day Three
The boys went fishing so Gus and Lill had a nap before setting off to meet them Well, Gus slept... Lilly had a quick nap and then books with auntie...Bye Bye diaper...it's a best seller among the Green Movement...can you guess how it ends? Next stop Convict LakeGus blocking his sister
But she is pretty slickBut he decided he would stand on her instead...it's way more funNow we need to find the boys...where could they be?
Having a good walking stick is important
Ok so we walked, and walked, and walked and could not find the boys...kids were coming apart, Mom was coming apart...but Aunt Dana rallied and morphed into her old Environmental Nature Camp teacher self and began to show Gus everything she could including wasp larva below...it worked...he was pretty intrigued!
We looked high and low...who would have thought a boat (aunt dana did actually)
Lill was not so sure about this...but she stepped up to the plate
Gus was in heaven with his popa
Lill was a bit like Humpty Dumpty in her life jacket
Where are all those fishies?
Let's catch some fish!Or in Matt's case......
Some shoe...fillet of sole anyone?
Unhooking
The catch of the day...literally...the only catch of the day
Hmmm where are the fish?
Getting sleepy
Getting ready to jump
Ok...I think she is over fishing...
Gus Loved fishing with his popa
Every good fisherman has a fish story...or in Matt's case, a shoe story :)
